Giving Back to the Community
A strong advocate for strengthening professionalism in the real estate community, Wendy has been involved with the Women’s Council of Realtors®, a national organization supporting women in business, since becoming a Realtor®. Her involvement has grown with each passing year, and characterizes what Women’s Council of Realtors® is all about; the continuous development of leadership and professional business skills.
Now she has taken on the challenge as 2007 Delta Chapter President-Elect in preparation for leading the chapter as President in 2008. Wendy has a big heart for her local community as well. A strong supporter of the battle against breast cancer, a cause dear to her heart, she has worked with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for the past four years, developing and leading teams, fundraising and walking.
Since 2002 Wendy has participated in other various fundraising efforts including Brentwood's Liberty High School Performing Arts Department, East County Little League and Girl Scouts.
